How it all started.

Recently over coffee, we couldn't stop talking about perimenopause. Our own experiences, the silence around it, the things nobody warns you about. We knew we had to do something with that conversation.

We're Claudia Paul, a photographer and director, and Aida Angotti, a senior producer. We know how to tell stories that matter. We're using that here.

That's why we're making 'Out Loud': a short documentary where women talk openly about menopause without the BS.

This conversation needs to happen. Openly, honestly, without apology.

We are filming and interviewing women in their homes, capturing what's really happening. The symptoms that disrupt daily life, what actually helps, the conversations

that have been off-limits.

We want to break the silence, challenge the idea that

women become less relevant as they age, and build a community where this conversation is normal.
